BANGKOK – The Thai tourism industry welcomed its 22 millionth visitor this year. The activity is being organised as part of a campaign to welcome every millionth visitor to Thailand. An elaborate traditional welcome was prepared by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Thai Airways International Public Co., Ltd., the Immigration Bureau, the Airports of Thailand Public Co., Ltd., and True Corporation Public Co., Ltd. Ms. Jin Haiyu, Thailand’s 22 millionth visitor for 2015 was presented with two economy-class return tickets from Mrs. Pornkamol Amnucksoradeja, Manager Special Service Department of Thai Airways International in a special session joined by Mr. Yuthasak Sapasorn, TAT Governor. Ms. Jin was pleasantly surprised to receive two economy-class return tickets from Thai Airways International Public Co., Ltd., from her airport of origin back to Thailand, valid for one year, and a voucher for top-end accommodation for five nights.[caption id="attachment_47" align="aligncenter" width="589"] Ms. Jin Haiyu, Thailand’s 22 millionth visitor for 2015, was presented with prizes from Mr. Sugree Sithivanich, TAT’s Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications.[/caption]
In addition, she received a mobile phone with 3G sim-card and seven-day internet usage from True Corporation Public Co., Ltd. for use on the trip. A luxury limousine was also provided to take her from the airport to the hotel in Bangkok on courtesy of Airports of Thailand Public Co., Ltd.
